Updated: Nov 21, 2018

SciMetrika is pleased to announce that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has bestowed the 2014 Group Merit Award to the Report on Carcinogens (RoC) Group, which includes employees Miriam Gattis, Helen Rock, and SciMetrika subcontractor James Stojan.

This prestigious citation acknowledges extraordinary planning, coordination, and execution of a successful communications plan for the National Toxicology Program’s 13th Report on Carcinogens, which was released on October 2. Rock acted as project manager, Stojan provided technical execution, and Gattis provided extensive content editing.

The NIH Merit Award is the highest-level honor award that an Institute Director can give to employees. This award recognizes scientific and administrative achievements that support and advance the mission of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).

According to the citation letter, RoC received this distinction for all the tremendous amount and high quality of work, interagency coordination, and planning that brought into fruition the 13th Report on Carcinogens. All awardees were invited to attend a recognition ceremony and reception on December 12 at the Rodbell Auditorium on the main NIEHS Campus in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Congratulations to Miriam, Helen, and James and the entire RoC team on the recognition of their excellent work with this great award!
