SciMetrika is seeking a Senior Survey Epidemiologist who will lead data collection for a national level government survey and will assist in coordinating and/or the Statistics and epidemiology Group. The successful candidate will be located in our Durham office in Research Triangle Park.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Developing, managing and implementing complex survey methodologies - Questionnaire development, Sampling designs, data collection and data analysis
• Strategic planning
• Business development
• Selecting approaches and methodologies for completing project tasks
• Program and Project Management - Management and developing work plans, timelines, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), summary reports and coordinating and facilitating conference calls with clients
• Overseeing a Diversity of Public Health Tasks such as systematic literature reviews, Technical Expert Panels, data collection activities and data analysis
• Staff management and development
• Developing and/or contributing to manuscripts and technical reports
• Managing and participating in the development of proposals
• Developing and applying Quality Assurance procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education Requirements: PhD + 3 years experience or Masters with 6 years experience

• Extensive experience and demonstrated leadership as a key contributor on survey research projects
• Experience in government contracting a plus
• Ability to contribute to  issues related to survey design or data collection protocols
• Knowledgeable about statistical methods for analyzing complex survey data including the use of 

        SUDANN or SAS Survey procedures

• Experience with multimode survey is a plus
• Knowledge of and experience with public health methodologies
• Experience in managing projects or tasks within a project that involve a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience in government contracting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of project management (experience with MS Project a plus)
