Dr. Deborah McGill Takes on Role as SciMetrika's Director of Public Health Programs

SciMetrika announced that Deborah McGill will take on the role of Director of Public Health Programs. Dr. McGill brings to SciMetrika a world of experience and a deep understanding of clinical and public health issues. She has extensive experience in training and evaluation as well as in developing and implementing survey instrumentation. In this newly created position, Dr. McGill will oversee public health programs in the Durham, Atlanta and Virginia offices and will be responsible for managing and driving the firm's growing business in each of the programs functional areas.

Dr. McGill holds a DrPH in Health Education and is psychiatric nurse clinician. She has worked in health for over thirty years and teaches Qualitative Research Methods for the University of Liverpool, MPH program. Her students are practicing health professionals around the world and include students from WHO, CDC overseas, and many public health executives and physicians. She joins SciMetrika from the Prometheus Center in Durham, NC where she has spent the past five years as a senior research scientist. Prior to that she was a senior research scientist and Manager of Program Evaluation at the Constella Group; Senior Director of Government Programs at the Epilepsy Foundation in Landover, Maryland and Project Director at Northrop Grumman/R.O.W. Sciences, Rockville, Maryland.
