SciMetrika Awarded 4 AARA Task Orders under CDC MCTA IDIQ Contract
SciMetrika awarded 4 task orders under the CDC MCTA IDIQ in support of the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (AARA).
SciMetrika will provide Management Consultation and Technical Assistance for a 3 year contract to the Immunization Services Division (ISD), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), Coordinating Center for Infections Diseases (CCID), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that will expand access to vaccines and vaccination services by: Making recommended vaccines available in all states, expanding access to the childhood vaccine series and influenza vaccines, providing grants to immunization programs, increasing national public awareness and knowledge about the benefits and risks of vaccines, and enhancing assessments of vaccine coverage, vaccine impact, vaccine effectiveness and vaccine adverse events.
SciMetrika will provide Management Consultation and Technical Assistance for a 2 year contract to the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Division of Viral Diseases (DVD), Epidemiology Branch (EB), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Specifically, SciMetrika will provide technical and analytical services for the Rotavirus Vaccine Effectiveness project which supports the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), and Epidemiology Branch's mission of surveillance and investigation of viral diseases. The Rotavirus Vaccine Effectiveness ARRA-immunization project is to conduct active surveillance for cases of acute gastroenteritis and assess the impact of rotavirus vaccine against medically-attended (inpatient hospital and ED) rotavirus gastroenteritis and conduct assessments of trends in rotavirus disease severity, rotavirus strain distributions, and rotavirus disease burden. SciMetrika will assist the EB staff with epidemiologic assessments, data and statistical/programming to assess the impact of rotavirus vaccine and trends in rotavirus disease severity and burden.
SciMetrika will provide Management Consultation and Technical Assistance for a 2 year contract to the CDC/NCIRD/Division of Bacterial Diseases/Respiratory Diseases Branch in an effort to improve laboratory based detection and characterization of bacterial agents of vaccine preventable diseases including pertussis and meningitis in public health laboratories in the US., and Provide state health laboratories the ability to carry out independent pneumococcal strain surveillance through providing protocols, training, and quality assurance/quality control in pneumococcal characterization, especially methods in PCR-based capsular serotype deduction.
SciMetrika will provide Management Consultation and Technical Assistance for a 2 year contract to the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD). SciMetrika will support the implementation of immunization activities funded through ARRA, including reaching more children and adults with immunization; enhancing information, education and communications about immunization; and strengthening the evidence base for immunization programs and policies.
