Dr. Jean Orelien Invited to Join the Statistical Science Delegation to China!
Dr. Jean Orelien, CEO and founder of SciMetrika, has been invited by the American Statistical Association (ASA) to join the Statistical Science Delegation to China in November 2010.
The delegation aims to foster one-on-one dialogue with statisticians overseas and to continue the United States' tradition of professional diplomacy. The delegation will explore ways in which statisticians worldwide can contribute to improving the public understanding of statistics and increasing the number of trained statisticians in future generations. The delegation will also explore how statistical methods are being used in Chinese agriculture and industry.
