SCIMETRIKA NAMED TO INC. MAGAZINE'S INC. 500 LIST COMPANY PLACED #371 NATIONWIDE FOR GROWTH IN 2011
DURHAM, N.C., (August 23, 2011) - SciMetrika, LLC announced today that the company was named to the Inc. 500, a list of the most entrepreneurial and fastest growing private companies in America.
SciMetrika's rank is 371, with an extraordinary three-year growth rate of 920.6%. This is SciMetrika's second year appearing on the list, having debuted at the rank of 374 in 2010.
SciMetrika's founder and CEO Jean Orelien commented on the award: "We like to say that SciMetrika is a family of entrepreneurs who share a passion for advancing human health. This award is a testament to the excellence this team achieves day in and day out."
Evidence of the company's strong growth is abundant. In 2010, the company won several critical contracts, including being named among the winners on an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract worth up to $1 billion to provide management consulting services to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and being selected as the sole winner of another CDC IDIQ worth $50 million over five-years to provide short and long-term domestic professional and technical services to the Center for Global Health. In that same year, SciMetrika tripled the size of its headquarters, doubled its headcount, and hired executives in several key roles to support and further grow the business.
